The 14th Annual Palm Springs Modernism Show & Sale will return on February 14th to the Palm Springs Convention Center as the largest Modernism Show & Sale in North America with more than 85 of the most prestigious international and national dealers. Palm Springs Modernism Show & Sale is one of the first and most anticipated events of Modernism Week – an annual celebration of midcentury modern design, architecture, fashion, and culture. On Friday evening, the show will open with its Preview Gala benefitting Modernism Week, a non-profit organization providing scholarships to local students pursuing college educations in the fields of architecture and design. The show is also adding an exciting lineup of additional programming this year including a book signing with “California’s Designing Women 1896-1986” author Bill Stern on Friday, February 14th at 6PM to 9PM and on Saturday, February 15th at 11:30AM to 1:30 PM and 3PM to 4PM. On Saturday, the show will also host famed architect Hugh M. Kaptur for a special appearance and buying opportunity of limited edition, museum-quality prints of rare original 1960s hand-drawn building renderings by Kaptur from 2PM to 4PM.
The show continues through the holiday weekend – open to the public – for admission of $20 per person at the door. Show hours are Saturday, February 15th, 10AM to 6PM, Sunday, February 16th, 10AM to 5PM, and Monday, February 17th, 10AM to 4PM. The event is held at the Palm Springs Convention Center, 277 N Avenida Caballeros, Palm Springs, CA 92262.
